25 years, Justex Systems published the twin newsletters
Police Labor Monthly and Fire Service Labor
Monthly. In November 2005 the newsletters were sold
to Labor Relations Information System of Portland, OR, publishers
of Public Safety Labor News (http://www.lris.com/newsletter_index.cfm).
As a service to our clients and the public safety labor
relations community as a whole, Justex has posted an open-access
ten year archive of both the newsletters and their companion
salary trackers.
Police
Labor Monthly (indexed
here) focused on providing law enforcement labor
relations personnel with current and relevant news
and information. Content included headline news, significant
labor relations court cases, and national salary data. The
newsletter was supplemented with the Salary Tracker reporting
on both national and regional compensation trends and regular
special features.
Fire
Service Labor Monthly (indexed
here) provided fire service labor relations personnel
with current and relevant news and information. Content
