Justex rates are based on a standard PROFILE package and optional features.
Standard PROFILE Package - Test Rental
- 100-question multiple choice examination
- Choice of 4 or 5 foils
- Preview copy of exam for testing committee/administrator (15-20 additional questions)
- 90% questions from Justex book list references
- 10% questions from local references/sources (department policies, general orders, etc.) selected by the client, if desired
- Up to 50 sealed test booklets
- Test administration guide and answer key
- Set of source sheets showing correct answer and context in source, for use during appeal process. One set per each 12 test booklets. Additional copies available at nominal cost.
- Candidate study guide with practice test (master copy with permission to reproduce)
- Justex response in writing to written challenges (appeals) of up to 20 questions per test
- Justex facilitates acquisition of references needed by the department/candidates
- All expenses included (printing, mailing, etc.)
- 75 days advance notice preferred

PROFILE Job Task Analysis
(for first-time clients and tests in use over 4 years)
- Written survey instrument for job incumbents
- Collation and analysis of the survey data
- Identification of core tasks
- Linkage of core tasks to job knowledge
- Linkage of core tasks/job knowledge to a representative written examination
- Final report contains source recommendations
- Report provided to the client in multiple copies
- Valid for 4-5 years
- Subsequent revalidations are discounted

- From a textbook not on the Justex book list (maximum of 20% of test)
- From local department policy references, above 10% of the test (maximum of 20% of test)

Grading and analysis of the test by Justex
- Machine graded within 3 days after receipt
- Certified rank-ordered list of candidates by test grade, or by alpha/employee number
